This book has been at our house since last Christmas, and I love it! Thanks Jess!  Farm Anatomy by Julia Rothman is one of those books you can pick up any time and wander through.

There are interesting tidbits of informaton on every page.  The information is all related to living in the country. Whether growing a small garden, enjoying a hobby farm, or working a larger plot of ground the information contained in Farm Anatomy is useful.  If you are a person with no garden or no desire to grow or raise anything it is an excellent ‘coffee ‘table’ book.  The sketches and drawings are useful, and entertaining.  There are many step-by-step directions on just about everything having anytthing to do with farm life.  An enjoyable book, and yes, a wonderful gift!
